Barack Obama’s Civilian National Security Force

Posted in News, Politics with tags , , , , , , , , , , on November 2, 2008 by Rob

What is a civilian National Security Force? A new version of the Homeland Security department? A new branch of the military? Or the family friendly term for the secret police? What ever the answer something is unsettling about this.

Barack Obama, in the video above, states that we cannot rely on our own military for our national security! Obama wants to have a civilian National Security Force. What I don’t understand is that our military is already a civilian national security force. All soldiers are normal civilians that decided to serve our nation in the armed forces.

Obama wants this ‘National Security Force’ to be as strong, as well funded, and large as our armed forces. For any fiscal-conservatives out there, our defense budget is 500 billion dollars. Obama wants to add another 500 billion for his Secret police, so the defense budget will be 1 trillion. No wonder why Obama wants to raise taxes.

Yet that doesn’t bother me as much as why Obama wants a new military branch, or whatever you want to call it. Isn’t our own military and local police enough? Our armed forces are the strongest and most sophisticated military in the world. No other nation on earth can compare to our weapon technology. No other nation military has the same global reach as us. In my humble opinion, our military is the best.

So why does Obama want this? I have an idea, and if you support Obama, stop reading now.

Obama is a left-wing Radical. Our military tends to be a conservative organization. Obama knows that there will be many in the military that will not trust him. There will be many in the top brass that will resent his leadership, and rightly so. How does Obama fix this problem? Simple, make a new military force that will be loyal to his ideals, a new military that Obama will be able to influence and have complete control over. That is where this new ‘civilian National Security Force’ comes in, and with a Democrat controlled congress, I can see Obama getting all the funding and support he needs.

I am against this because we already have a military and we have police officers. Why do we need to have another national security organization? And what’s wrong with our current military? The main questions that I have are, what powers will this civilian National Security Force have? Will they be able to arrest anti-Obama supporters? Arrest those who do not recycle? Spy on our families and neighbors like in George Orwell’s book 1984?

All I know is that this is rather disturbing and further proof of Obama’s Radicalism.

How to Vote

Posted in News, Politics, entertainment with tags , , , , , , , , , , , on October 28, 2008 by Rob

And Not be an Idiot

This election is going to change America. No matter whom we choose. I want to make sure that anyone who can vote does. It is our right and a duty to vote, but I want to make sure you vote smart. I don’t want anyone to vote just based on a fancy campaign.

  1. Don’t vote based on looks or how the candidate dresses. I have heard stories and knew of people that voted just because the person looked sincere, was eloquent, or dressed professionally.
  2. Don’t always vote for party candidates. Just because your candidate is a Democrat or Republican doesn’t mean you have to vote for him/her. Just because I am a conservative doesn’t mean I always have to vote Republican and vise-versa for Democrats. Many in my family are registered Democrats but vote Republican. Vote for the candidate that matches the issues that you hold dear.
  3. If you know nothing of a candidate, DON’T VOTE FOR THEM! There is nothing worse then voting for someone and know nothing about their personal life or stance on issues. Voting blindly is a sure-fire way to get a government that, We the People, never wanted.
  4. Don’t vote by flipping a coin or doing ‘inny-minny-miney-moe’. Voting is just too important to leave to chance. Don’t be stupid. If you don’t know anything about a candidate or if you know nothing anything about the issues. Just don’t vote at all.
  5. Follow your own beliefs! Not the beliefs that the candidates want you to follow. As cliché as this may sound. Follow your own heart. Because in the end, you know what’s best for you. Not the candidates, so vote for the person that matches closely to your ideals.
  6. Vote for the issues, not the campaign! Sure Obama’s campaign is nice and flashy, but for all we know it could be superficial. Remember a good campaign means nothing. A campaign doesn’t help one be president or fix our economic problem. A campaign just proves that a candidate can sell himself to the American people.
  7. Think! Ask yourself one question. Will this candidate really help America? Obama’s and McCain’s campaigns are promising everything, but it doesn’t mean that either campaign will live up to its promises. Bush promised in 2000 that he was against Bill Clinton’s military intervention policy. In the 90s Bill Clinton ran on a platform for Universal Healthcare. Neither president stuck with their promises.
  8. IT IS YOUR VOTE. Not Obama’s, not McCain’s, not the media’s, not the neighbors, nor your friends. It is yours and yours alone.
  9. Go with your gut feeling. Most of the time it won’t let you down. If you feel uneasy about a candidate chances are that you will not agree with his polices. Just because the media speaks highly or poorly of a candidate shouldn’t change your mind. If you get uneasy by Obama’s religious, radical, or vague past, then don’t vote for him! Likewise with McCain/Palin’s pasts.
  10. Lastly, YOUR VOTE MATTERS!

It will be history making election year. Don’t miss out!

Barack Obama and the Media’s Hypocrisy

Posted in News, Politics with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , on October 24, 2008 by Rob

Barack Obama admitted of the occasional use of cocaine, the regular use of marijuana, and he would have tried heroin if he like the drug dealer better.  Here is a man that at one point was in the congregation of Rev. Wright. Obama at one point was friends with William Ayers. Obama worked with the crooks at ACORN. Remember ACORN is the organization that is committing voter’s fraud (In Florida, ACORN tried to register Mickey Mouse) Obama worked for ACORN and even trained some of the personnel there! With all these negative things why would we Americans even consider this guy?

I have to blame the media for failing to do their job. I have many times talked about the blatant hypocrisy in America. CNN, ABC, NBC, and MSNBC are all in the bag for Barack Obama. Obama was involved with people or organizations that are out to destroy our fundamental values, yet the media has turned a blind eye to this. We all heard that Bush had a DUI and did cocaine, and you remember how the media torn him apart? Why haven’t they done the same with Obama? Here is a man that came out and said that he did do these drugs. Obama’s excuse was that he did drugs to deal with the stress of life, and that he was a confused teenage boy. The media, after hearing this, did not retaliate, but gave Obama a free ride and supported him.

Before the Rev. Wright fiasco, Obama called Wright his spiritual mentor. After the Wright (Remember Wrights words: “Not God Bless America, Goddamn America!”)Obama threw his ‘spiritual mentor’ under the bus. He claimed that in his 20 years of going to that church he never heard Wright say such mean things, but that wasn’t the last time Obama’s friends would cause trouble. William Ayers, an anti-American domestic terrorist, was Obama’s friend. Now Obama claims he met Ayers before, but knew him like neighbor that lives down street. They were not buddies but they were on friendly terms.

William Ayers

The question is if a conservative was to have ties with the KKK (Robert Byrd joined the KKK at 24 years old, but he is a Democrat so it’s ok) or did cocaine and pot, would they get a fee pass like Obama? Or would they have been torn apart and made fun of like Bush has?

Iran for Barack Obama

Posted in News, Politics with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , , , on October 23, 2008 by Rob

 Iran for Obama!

Those people in Iran love the USA!!

Those people in Iran love the USA!!

Islamic-Fascism and militant socialism are gridding their axes, in preparation for a future conflict with American ideals. This is the time to stand strong and untied. The United States of America must be ready and willing to deal with all those who want to cause harm. IN this era we are no longer fighting for land, but our very way of life.

As I watch the political quagmire boil and fester. I cannot help but be disgusted. I find myself wondering. Are these candidates really what we need? I know that I am leaning toward John McCain, but he never came close to the candidate I really wanted. I would love to vote for Bob Barr, yet, in the US elections, voting for a third party candidate is like throwing away your vote. Then there is Barack Obama. Now if you have been reading this blog for awhile you should know. I am not a big fan of Barack Obama, and the article above, reaffirms my view on Obama.

Iran’s parliament speaker, Ali Larijani, said that they support Barack Obama. His reason is that he finds Obama ‘flexible and rational’. Great, not only is Barack Obama a Marxist, but now has the backing and support of one the world’s brutal nations. Was it not Iran whose revolutionary guard helped sneak insurgent fighters and weapons into Iraq, with the intention to kill US soldiers? Is it not Iran that wants Israel wiped off the face of the earth? This is the country that enjoys burning and stomping on the US flag, and the leaders and people of Iran chant “death to America!” Larijani calls Barack Obama ‘flexible’ or in other terms weak and easily manipulated.

The USA needs a president that will not be another nation’s naïve puppet.  We need a strong president that is not flexible. The question is this. Will Obama be a pawn in the great game of international politics? I know that Barack’s running mate, Joe Biden, believes that Obama will have a tough time, yet, I heard some people say, Barack will have many advisers on foreign policy, so he doesn’t need to have experience. Having advisers doesn’t mean jack. If other countries think that you are weak, they will exploit that weakness. Obama does not have any real world foreign policy experience. Remember this is the guy at one moment wanted undivided Israeli country and the next supported a two-state option to deal with the Israel-Palestine problem.

My view is that we need a president that does have foreign policy skills. Our next president must rely on his own skills not those of advisers. In this world of Islamic-Fascism and Militant Socialism, we need to have a president that will not be flexible to the world dictators. We need a president that will not talk or bend to the will of tyrants. We cannot afford to have a president that will follow the ideals of appeasement like Neville Chamberlain and his famous 1938 quote ‘Peace in Our Time’(a year later WWII started). Sadly, I see Barack Obama, not being strong enough or independent enough for our nation and global politics. I see Obama as following the failed ideologies of Appeasement and Socialism.

1860 election and 2008 election. Something in common?

Posted in News, Politics with tags , , , , , , , , , , , on October 22, 2008 by Rob

“A house divided against itself cannot stand.”- Abraham Lincoln

When honest Abe said those words back in 1858 the USA was a very different place indeed. The Southern States had slavery while the North was abolished slavery. It was just a matter of time before these two very different ideologies would clash against each other. It was on December 20th 1860 when South Carolina left the Union, and in the following month of January, the rest of the south left the Union. The United States of America was about to experience the brutality of the deadliest war in US history.

Fast-forward to 2008 and there is something (though not as severe) similar to the events of the 1860s. In our nation there are two very different ideologies that are clashing with each other. On one hand there is Progressivism (aka Liberalism) and on the other side, is Conservatism. Theses two ideologies have been at odds for years; however, our political system has managed to keep both sides satisfied and able to co-exist, to a point.

Recently there has been a shift from uneasy relationship to all out hostility. In the near past, the polarization of American politics became obvious. In Bush’s last State of the Union, one could clearly see the complete lack of harmony between the Republicans and Democrats. Bush would mention, what one would consider, a ‘conservative ideal’ like privatization of Social Security. The Republicans would stand and applaud, but the Democrats would sit silently. It is true that this has happened before but something isn’t right.

Today we have two presidential tickets that are very different from each other. The Dems have Barack Obama and Joe Biden. Obama is an advocate of Socialism (spreading the wealth), increase of centralized government, and for an absolute change of fundamental American beliefs. It is amazing how far the Democrats have leaned toward the left in recent times. Their beliefs now are in conflict on what our nation was founded on. Our nation was funded on the individual pursuit of happiness. The Constitution and its writers never liked the idea of a government deeply involved in the person’s life; however, this fundamental American ideal at odds with Obama’s Marxist views for America.

There are millions of Americans that support the Constitution. Many are willing to fight for its ideals. In fact there are many in our armed forces that are fighting for it, yet this election has brought out people who could care less about our Constitution. There are people who are willing to blindly support any leader that promises something for free (national healthcare, welfare, etc…) and will hate and despise those who disagree.

It is two weeks away from election. In two weeks an election will revolutionize our nation. Will it stay move toward the right or drastically toward the left. The choice is simple, fight for the Constitution and vote for the right of the individual.

Because nobody wants to repeat the events of the 1860s.

Equality! The Leftist Buzz Word.

Posted in News, Politics, entertainment with tags , , , , , , , , , , on October 14, 2008 by Rob

What is the one ideal that liberals and Osama, I mean, Obama want? They want a government will take care of the people. Isn’t that such a wonderful idea! Imagine having the government taking care of all people! What a life that would be. There would be no poverty, no racism, no sexism, pure equality, everyone would be rich and well off, everyone would have a house, and there would be a chicken in every pot.

I can see some powerful world leaders singing the same tune, for example, Hitler, Stalin, Franco, and Ho Chi Man. All of those leaders wanted the government to take care of the people. Just like how Obama wants to have the government take care of you. Each of those tyrants ran with the same idea. They wanted to help the poor; they wanted to make the rich pay for their abuse of the worker and they wanted to make everybody equal.

I still don’t understand why people want equality so bad. People have this idea that one day. That people can and will be equal. There will be no wars, or conflicts. We can all be just equal. I know John Lennon sung about equality in his song “imagine” and if that song came true, what a world it would be. Sadly, we humans are not perfect; we humans are unable to achieve this type of society. People will naturally have biases toward other people. Prejudice will always exist, no matter what. We humans will have our emotions of greed, lust, love, sadness, and hate. No matter how much the government tries it will not be able to make everyone 100% equal. Even if the government gave everybody the same house, same car, same job, same pay, and forced them to buy the same items, there will still be inequality. Some people will just naturally be born with better looks, a higher IQ, a great sense of humor, and so on. With all those variables how can a government make people equal if people are born unequal?  The simple answer is that they cannot. No matter how hard a government or a person tries, people will always be unequal. So why do libs, democrats, Marxist, commies, socialist, or the ‘left’, try to make every one equal?

Simple if they can feed you this equality crap, then they can make you vote for them. When you vote for them, you give the left more power. Give the left more power; they will naturally remove more freedoms in the name of equality and common good. Then before you know it, you have no freedoms, have no incentive to succeed (because the government gives you everything) and you are no longer a person, but a simple drone, and the people that fed you that equality crap will have all the power.

Sometimes equality isn’t all what it cracked up to be. If you want equality go with capitalism. Why? If a person gave two people with the same background, 10,000 dollars each, and told them to start a business. Those two people would have the same chance of succeeding or failing. What’s more equal then that? In this upcoming election remember to vote for a capitalist, not Comrade Obama.

“You cannot bring about prosperity by discouraging thrift. You cannot help small men by tearing down big men. You cannot strengthen the weak by weakening the strong. You cannot lift the wage-earner by pulling down the wage-payer. You cannot help the poor man by destroying the rich. You cannot keep out of trouble by spending more than your income. You cannot further the brotherhood of man by inciting class hatred. You cannot establish security on borrowed money. You cannot build character and courage by taking away men’s initiative and independence. You cannot help men permanently by doing for them what they could and should do for themselves.”

McCain in Touch with Reality, Obama Not

Posted in News, Politics with tags , , , , , on April 27, 2008 by Rob

McCain calls Obama insensitive to poor people.

My View:

Wow. McCain lashed out today saying that Barack Obama is insensitive to the poor. Is this true? Is Obama the man of change and hope, really insensitive to the poor? First of all, both of these candidates are out of touch with the common American. McCain flies in his wife’s private jet, while Obama graduated from Harvard Law School. Am I saying that being from Harvard puts somebody out of touch? Yeah it does with 55k per semester tuition; the average American can not afford that. Both McCain and Obama do not know the true plight of Americans. Why? Cause the salary of a senator is $169,300 per year! McCain had a wife that is millionaire. Obama said that he himself comes from a meager single-mother background. It’s true, but he did managed go to a Private Preparatory school in Hawaii, which its current tuition, as of 2008, is $15,725 per school year. I don’t know about all of you, but these guys just don’t seem like your average American citizen.

After reading the article, McCain plans to extend the Bush’s tax cuts, and suspend the tax on fuel during the summer. McCain then launched an attack against Obama:

“I noticed again today that Sen. Obama repeated his opposition to giving low-income Americans a tax break, a little bit of relief so they can travel a little further and a little longer, and maybe have a little bit of money left over to enjoy some other things in their lives… Obviously Sen. Obama does not understand that this would be a nice thing for Americans, and the special interests should not be dictating this policy”

Don’t get me wrong, tax reductions are good and not paying extra taxes on gas is better, with oil at $3.60 across the nation. After watching the debate in Pennsylvania, and how Obama wants to increase the capital gains tax (an increase will effect 100 million Americans) up to 20 percent. Does this mean I believe McCain will be a great and wonderful leader of the free world? No, I don’t like him, in fact, I like none of them. McCain, in my opinion is not really a true Republican, he is a flip-flop. During his time in congress he snuggled up with Democrats rather then the Republicans. The one true thing I do respect about McCain is that he is truly a war hero, and that he was a POW back in Vietnam, because of that I believe he has guts to protect us; however, on any other issue, he is a loss cause and Obama has the upper hand.

This article stands out because, simply, that I hate it when politicians say they are watching out for the little guy or they know how we ‘feel’. People it is bull-crap! Politicians have no idea what it is like to live paycheck to paycheck, be in financial ruin, bankrupt, and/or be out of a job. Most of them inherit a fat bank account or have mommy and daddy have a multi-billion dollar corporation.

Just remember folks: Vote with your head, not with the advertisement

Hillary wants Debate without Moderators

My View

I can see why she would love to debate Obama again. On their last engagement Obama was clearly the one to suffer. Not only did he dodge important issues or failed to give at least direct answer. Obama the powerful and eloquent public speaker, vanished during the Pennsylvania debate. His speech was littered with “Uh” and “ah” and of course my personal favorite, “uhhh and.” Don’t get me wrong, Obama is a great speaker, he just needs a speech writer and a TelePrompter.

In the artical Hillary has a idea. She wants Obama and herself have a sort of Q&A debate, where they just answer questions from either youtube or the audience, without any moderators. Hillary is completely for this, even former president Bill Clinton is pushing the idea. Obama on the other hand claims “We’ve had 21 [debates], and so what we’ve said with two weeks, two big states we want to make sure that we’re talking to as many folks possible on the ground, taking questions from voters.” What he means to say is “hells no. I screwed up last time, I am not going to do it again!”

As we all know Hillary is behind. Its true that a debate is a sure-fire way to make headway in the polls. Obama still has a lead in 9 point lead in NC and in Indiana he only has a 1 point lead. A good debate could send her surging froward, and leave Obama scrambling to fix the problem. That is only if Obama wants to debate; however, with the way things are looking, that isn’t going to happen. All Hillary can do is just keep chipping away at controversies. Praying (Ever since Pennsylvania, where I believe she became the defender of religion) and hoping that she keeps Obama on the defencive; allowing her to win key votes.

Just remember it is the McCain and the Republicans that are benefiting from this. McCain is hoping for a long fight between them. In fact most Republicans enjoy the thought that the Democrats might have a broken convention. Maybe Obama should just have the debate, or maybe Hillary should drop out. Either way, the Democrats are divided. This event does reminds me of a similar election. The election of 1912 had the Republican party split, some Republicans wanted Theodore Roosevelt, other wanted William Taft. They where divided and unable to reach some agreement, so Roosevelt started the Bull-Moose Party, Taft stayed with the Republicans; consequently this split cause the Democrat Nominee Woodrow Wilson to win the election.

In short if the Democrats don’t do anything, this will cause the Republicans to win.
