Freedom from

We are peasants. I work with the fear of being fired at a moment notice. I have been lied into believing that hard work and determination will make me the next big movie star or millionaire, but we aren’t. When we wise up and realize the lies we were told aren’t true. We are sedated with sex, consumerism, and good old fashion TV.

Our problem is that we have been breed to follow the Hamster Wheel of Hedonism, the endless pursuit of pleasure and satisfaction. When life gets a little hard (like this economy) we shout and yell. We gnash our teeth and cry for those with the power to save us, and they do. They save us just for a little bit more freedom and individuality.

Eventually we will be nothing more then serfs of the power elites. Of course, they won’t be our rulers overnight. The elites will seek more power on the behalf of the people, and this cycle will just reduce us to drones to the overlords. A drone we shall be. Unless…

We must over come the crass demands of the flesh. Only take enough to keep our bodies well. We must protect the sacredness of the mind, and insure that we do not use intoxicants for euphoria. For the use of poisons allow others to control us and destroy us. Detach ourselves from the materialistic consumer mindset. Thus doing this shall lead us to freedom.

When Barack was elected as El Presidente, I knew that Obama would take the route of pacifism. Obama adopted the ‘woe is us, and we’re sorry for all the problems in the world’ and both Republicans and Democrats agreed.

Now, Obama is in Russia trying to mend the freezing relations between Russia and the United States. Russia has stated what it does not like about America. Notably our missile defense shield and how our currency is crap. I can blame Bush for the Missile Shield, but I know its needed to insure US protection, however, the currency issue, it started with Bush and Obama is making it much worse.

During the day, Obama met with Medvedev, the president of Russia, and made some head way. Obama and Medvedev agreed to limit nuclear arsenals.  Don’t be fooled by the handshakes and smiles. This is not the only reason Obama is over there. Obama is trying to warm relations so Russia doesn’t continue questioning the US dollars dominance. Obama is very concerned with how history will remember him. Obama does not want to be the president that saw the US dollar lose it’s dominance, and because of this Obama would be willing to make any concessions to keep Russia content.

But we all know that this would not work. It didn’t work Neville and it won’t work with Obama.

Barack Obama’s Stimulus Package and how it is failing…

Posted in News, Politics with tags , , , , , , , , , , , on March 6, 2009 by Rob

Alright

It has been too long since I wrote on this blog. After a crushing defeat in the 2008 elections; the Republicans are leaderless, confused, and (most importantly) lost their way. Now we have Comrade Barack Hussein Obama as our Controller-in-Chief of the United Socialist States of America. His radical beliefs are coming out, and coming out strong. In the past few months we have passed THE LARGEST SPENDING BILL IN WORLD HISTORY, yet as good Americans we did not ask questions. We just simply followed our Messiah. Obama was promising change and hope (AKA Chope). From his campaign speeches, it sounded like the moment he would step into office. All the problems of the earthy would be fixed.

Two months later…

Something did change

Now the USA deficit has never been higher (and you liberals were complaining about Bush’s spending)

The economy is still failing, jobs are being lost at record numbers, and unemployment is at 8.1 percent. This isn’t change but more of the same, so much Obama’s campaign promise of “change we can believe in.”

Barack Obama and Wealth Reistribution

Posted in News, Politics with tags , , , , , , , , , on October 31, 2008 by Rob

We have been hearing about wealth redistribution, but how will wealth redistribution work? I will give you a very simple example.

I am driving to a restaurant to eat dinner. On my way I see a homeless man holding a sign saying “Hungry Vet, God Bless.” I would feel bad since I am about to stuff myself with food. When I get to a restaurant my waitress takes my order. She does a great job and the service is excellent. When I finish the meal, I get the bill. I tell the waitress that I am going to redistribute some wealth to help the real needy. I tell the woman that I will give her tip the homeless man because he needed it more than her. Of course the waitress would be mad, but I am being selfless. I am doing what Obama wants to do with your wealth.

Is it the right thing to do? I mean it is always good to help the poor. I try to donate my money to charities, but the question is should I rely on the government to do it for me? Does Obama think I am not capable to helping the poor or donating my money? My final question I leave you with is this. Who knows what is best for your family and your money, the Washington DC or you?

How to End Poverty… My way.

Posted in Politics with tags , , , , , , , , , , on October 19, 2008 by Rob

The poor, the Have-Nots, and Proletariat. There seems to be no shortage of names to call the down-on-their-luck citizens. Nobody wants to be poor, and trust me I have been poor and its no fun. I have seen my grandparents suffer being poor, yet politicians promise year after year that they will help them. We all know that Karl Marx praised them, and people believe that the rich hate them; however, the why are the poor… poor? There is an infinite amount of speculation why there poverty. Many blame the rich for being greedy and not helping out. Some blame the government, and other say it is nature. No one likes too see poor people. I can guarantee that any one reading this blog had, at one point, locked their car’s doors when a homeless person walked by, even liberals are guilty. People want to fix the problem but fail to understand why there is a problem in the first place.

There are countless reasons why there is poverty. I am just going to name one main cause, which we can agree on: No Jobs.

With this major cause of poverty, how can we, the people, fix it?

I know many people say: “Take from the rich, they have enough money already!”

Others, like me say: “Let the free-market help!”

Anyone that knows economics can tell you that a free-market, charities, and a little government help can pull most from the grasp of poverty. How?

The no employment and how to fix it:

The rich want more money. That is a belief we all grow up believing. The question is how do the rich get richer? They invest their money. They invest in start-up businesses, inventions, and corporations. The rich hope that their investment will succeed and if the business or invention does succeed. The rich make a profit. When businesses have money they expand and make more jobs. With more jobs, the poor can finally begin to pull themselves out of poverty. See how easy that was. A good side-effect of higher employment is that more people would donate to charities which in turn would help other less fortunate to succeed. Lower the taxes on everyone and our economy would rebound. Here is a simple way to remember how higher taxes cause more poverty:

Higher taxes on rich=> less investment=>Less business expansion=>  Fewer people are employed=> Less tax revenue goes to the government=> Government raises taxes on everyone to make up for shortfall=> More people become poor.

REMEMBER THIS! No matter how hard we may try. We do not live in a perfect world. There will always be the poor and the rich. There is no denying that. The idea of ‘ending’ poverty is a lofty goal but will never be reached. For as long as we are humans, with human emotions, there shall always be the fortunate people and less fortunate people.

Barack Obama’s Agenda

Posted in News, Politics, Uncategorized with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , on October 16, 2008 by Rob

The Left wants your money and your freedoms. Barack Obama is just the beginning of a dark storm of Marxism and unrelenting liberalism. Imagine a country where political correctness is king. A government that tells how raise your own child. A nation that college students have no freedom to choose a major in college (this happens in Europe).

A government that tells you what your future will hold. A nation where religion is ridiculed and is forced regulated to be inline with the state. A country where the poor are kept poor and Obama and his comrades stay in power and bask in wealth.

Obama wants to help the poor. Barack wants to make you and me dependent on the government. Barack wants to increase social spending too help the people in poverty. People, welfare does not help the poor. Why would someone work, if they can get free money from Uncle Sam?

If you want to help the poor give them the will to work. It is only through hard work and determination that will give people economic freedom. It is capitalism that will be the salvation for poor. People, who put in the hours, get the education, innovate, or have the will too succeed. Will find out they are free from the grasp of poverty.

If welfare doesn’t help the poor, then why does Obama want to spend more for it? Is Obama a misguided idealist that is inexperienced? Or is there something else? We all know during elections that every politician wants to make the world a better place and promise everything in the world for your vote.  There is some other agenda that Obama must be pursing. Just look to his past. William Ayers, Louis Farrakhan, and Reverend Wright are, at one point or another, were Obama’s close friends. These people are against the American way are twisted by the failed ideology of the left; however, Obama says that he is for the common man. Then why be even associated with these scum bags of our society? William Ayer was a terrorist. Ayer’s bombed the pentagon, sided with North Vietnam, and said he would DO IT AGAIN. He is nothing but an arrogant terrorist! Farrakhan is a perfect example of reverse racism. Farrakhan and the Nation of Islam wants to establish a new nation where Islam is the rule of the land (same as Islamic-fascist), and we all know about Reverend Wright and what he thinks about our nation.

People, I beg you too look further. There is something more sinister to Obama’s goals then he is leading on. I believe Barack wants to remodel the USA into a nation where the constitution is based off the ideals of Liberalism. I believe Barack might not completely change the entire nation, but he will get the ball rolling, and if Americans are scared enough we might live in the People’s Demokratic Republik of the United States of Amerika. Yesterday we had a taste of his Marxist ideology. Spread the wealth around. Obama wants to punish the people that work hard and the successful, and reward the lazy and unproductive. McCain isn’t the most conservative candidate, but he is a hell of a lot better then the Marxist and his crew.

Obama/Biden for Marxism 2008!

Obama for Socialism!

Posted in News, Politics with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , on October 15, 2008 by Rob

The best thing in life is when my statements turn into fact. I have stated before in my previous post that Barack Obama is a socialist, wait, I mean Marxist. Socialist still believe in some private ownership and competition; however, Marxist believe in personality cults (like Obama’s campaign), wealth redistribution (like Obama’s economic policy), prejudiced equality (like Obama’s domestic policy), and my personal favorite a planned economy. Obama seems to be taking notes from history’s greatest dictators and failed ideologies.

In the video above, you have Joe the plumber who said to Obama that his little business would make more then 250,000 dollars a year. Obama has said that taxes will be raised on anyone making more then 250,000 a year, so Joe the plumber’s taxes will increase. We all know Obama is an eloquent speaker. Obama with his mastery of the English language, explained to Joe the plumber about his true economic plan: “My attitude is that if the economy’s good for folks from the bottom up, it’s gonna be good for everybody. I think when you spread the wealth around, it’s good for everybody.”

Spread the wealth around? Come on people. This has Marxism writing all over it! It is against our nation’s beliefs of capitalism! Our nation’s constitution encourages capitalism. Here is this man that is completely against our fundamental beliefs. The main reason why we are an economic powerhouse is because we value the free-market, yet people say that capitalism has failed us. Nothing could be further from the truth. Capitalism has never failed. The free-market will always right itself, and balance out. It is only when We the People fail to leave alone the market, does Capitalism appear to fail.

How to avoid the 2nd Great Depression

Posted in News, Politics with tags , , , , , , , , on October 10, 2008 by Rob

What are Americans to do now? Our economy is a falling bowling ball with a lead parachute. Luckily it is rallying right now, but it is mid day and a lot can happen in the next few hours.

The question is what can we Americans do? What does this bad economy mean for us? Well, I can tell you that I have already felt the effects.

I used to have my own business. I was a book hunter I would find cheap books and sell them for a higher profit. Surprisingly it was good money. I was making enough money to pay the bills and also have some money to burn, yet I noticed that my profits where shrinking. I was not selling enough books, so I did what any business would do. I lowered my prices in hope that it would pick up sales, yet it did nothing to increase sales. I then offered bulk purchases, where a person could buy ten to fifty books for twenty-five dollars. That fell through too.

I fought long and hard to keep this business live. I cut back on most of my luxuries that I was use too. In the last couple of months before the end happened. I had a Spartan existence, yet this did not stop the inventible. Finally, after fighting to keep my American dream alive, my business and I sank beneath the waves.

Who should I blame for this failure? The economy started to go sour a few months ago and gas prices caused people to spend less. Should I blame the market/economy? I could blame President Bush and the Republicans and their wasteful spending, or the Democrats and Barack Obama and their wasteful spending. Maybe I can blame this 700billion dollar bailout for Wall Street, but I now who is really at fault. Me.

It isn’t the government’s fault, or Republicans, or the Democrats. It isn’t the free-market or Wall Street. It was my own fault. See, in a free-market like ours, ups and downs are a fact of life. I took a risk and started a business. I knew that I could fail, but I went ahead anyways. I had a dream and I went for it. I failed, but I was thankful that I did (but it did hurt). When my business went under it was an example of a free-market. I was out competed by other businesses. The other businesses had lower prices or better products, and I just couldn’t compete with that. I was upset but now I feel that I did something. I took a risk, and I failed but that doesn’t mean I’ll never try again.

The Free-Market rewards ingenuity, innovation, and hard work. The market punishes those who become to complacent, rigid, or lazy. I became lazy and complacent. I believed that my profits wouldn’t shrink, and I see how wrong I was.

You reading this post may have read my previous ones and just think I am some right wing nut job. Or as one person said: “An inarticulate spin doctor. Who is the reason why the nation is at war with itself.”

But let me give some advice how to save our economy, with no political spin. Innovate, and work hard. If you have an invention or an idea for a new business, run with it. Sure there is a chance for failure, you might lose everything, but you’ll never know unless you try. I tried and I failed miserably, yet I would start another business tomorrow if I had the capital. Remember, it was the small business owners that are the back bone for our country. It is people that decided to risk it all for one shot be their own boss. All major corporations where, at one time, just a small company that grew into a large enterprise.

Our economy will be saved by people who are willing to risk it all. The question is, are you willing to risk it all?

Barack H. Obama Big Spender! Bush’s Spending doesn’t Even Come Close to Obama Spending Plan.

Posted in News, Politics, Uncategorized with tags , , , , , , on July 14, 2008 by Rob

He doesnt show it here, but Obama is going to be a BIG SPENDER

This is why the earth is heating up. Plastic bags and lot of hot air.

Analysis: Obama won’t try

for McCain’s budget goal.

WASHINGTON (AP) — Barack Obama says John McCain’s plan to balance the budget doesn’t add up. Easy for him to say: It’s not a goal he’s even trying to reach.

Not only does Obama say he won’t eliminate the deficit in his first term, as McCain aims to do, he frankly says he’s not sure he’d bring it down at all in four years, considering his own spending plans.

"I do not make a promise that we can reduce it by 2013 because I think it is important for us to make some critical investments right now in America’s families," Obama told reporters this week when asked if he’d match McCain’s pledge.

So what is more important in tough economic times? For the government to spend more to help hard-hit Americans or to eliminate a deficit that can lead to higher borrowing costs and slow the economy?

Whether it’s McCain the Republican or Obama the Democrat in the White House next year, the new president is likely to inherit an annual federal deficit exceeding $400 billion. Budget watchers say it’s hard to figure what either candidate’s impact will be since neither is offering full details of his spending programs.

"I think both candidates need to put some numbers on these things so we can get a sense of how realistic they are," said Robert Bixby of the Concord Coalition, a budget watchdog group.

Obama’s criticism of McCain’s pledge as "overly ambitious" is backed up by fiscal experts.

"Hypothetically it’s possible to get to a balanced budget by 2013, but not under the policies that McCain has proposed," Bixby said. "The policies he would propose would actually add to the deficit when you take them all together."

Jim Horney, director of federal fiscal policy at the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities, said the center’s analysis, even assuming a fast drawdown of troops in Iraq, found McCain would have to cut around $400 billion worth of federal programs to balance the budget by 2013.

“It seems unlikely, particularly given that Senator McCain has not been willing to be specific about what programs he would cut,” Horney said. “And even if he were willing to, there’s a real question of whether the Congress or the public would go along with the kinds of cuts required to balance the budget, assuming the tax policies that he’s proposing.”

McCain says he would reduce spending by slowing the growth of Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid, but he hasn’t said how he would try to change the benefits. He also says he would slow the government’s spending growth and stop spending on lawmakers’ special earmarked projects. But earmarks accounted for just $17 billion of the $2.9 trillion budget this year.

Obama plans to raise $100 billion annually by increasing taxes on Americans making more than $250,000 a year, money that would be used to pay for health care and tax cuts for low- and middle-income earners. He has said ending the Iraq war would generate about $80 billion a year, but he’s not using that to pay down the deficit either. Instead, he said that money could help pay for more government programs like health care, education, housing and public safety.

"The problem there is that the Democrats have been very critical of President Bush for spending hundreds of billions of dollars on the war without paying for it and running up the deficit," Bixby said. "But in effect what Obama is saying is, `I’m going to spend the same amount of money. I’m just going to spend it on something else.’"

Obama’s economic policy director, Jason Furman, said the campaign will release a formal budget later in the year that explains his spending in greater detail. Furman added that “while we would like to balance the budget, we cannot say exactly when that will happen given the need to make important investments and the large amount of uncertainty in the economy.”

Bixby said even if Obama and McCain have ways to pay for their spending plans, the United States still has an unsustainable budget outlook because of rising costs for Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid.

"It’s kind of like somebody building a porch on a house they can’t afford," he said. "This is the part of the budget that’s poised to explode over the next several years. And we really can’t afford all of these new initiatives that McCain and Obama are talking about because we haven’t figured out how to pay for what’s already on the table."

My View

At least McCain is attempting to get this country out of debt. At least McCain is not trying to increase the taxes for anyone. At least McCain is trying to cut all the wasteful pork that Washington spews out every year. At least McCain is trying to show people that living off of the government is not the way to go.

Obama on the other hand… He just wants more spending. If you though Bush was bad at spending money. Obama’s spending will DWARF that of Bush’s spending levels. People complain about how much Bush spent money, yet no one will complain about Obama’s spending. Remember the Government should NOT take care of you!

To the people who for some reason are too blind too see Barack Hussein Obama is truly a Marxist, just look at his two year record. Is it Social Security and Welfare really worth the increase of taxes and debt? My point of view. I say anyone over 45 is guaranteed social security. Anyone under that age should get start putting money away, of course with tax incentives.

Also people living on welfare, they would have six months to get off or be out on the street. I know there are people that truly need the help, and they should be helped. I just want to get the people who don’t work or try to find a job off welfare. These people need to be held accountable for their own financial situation, and they shouldn’t rely on my tax dollars!

The New US Great Depression

Posted in News, Politics, Uncategorized with tags , , , , , , , , on April 30, 2008 by Rob

USA Economy to lose 6 TRILLION DOLLARS!!!!

My View:

One just has to read this article and look at how homes are selling to see this come prediction coming true. 6 trillion is going to vanish this year! That’s 6 with twelve zeros following after it. Our economy is 13.13 trillion according to the CIA world factbook. This year we will see 6 trillion vanish from that. That is really bad news. As home prices continue to fall and the cost of living keeps going up. It is fact that our country is heading into a recession. A recession so frightening that Americans and the world have no idea how bad it is. Some people are saying that we are heading into a depression.

It is a known fact, that up 65 percent of the average American wealth are their homes. The housing bubble that ended in 2006 is starting to completely wipe out most American’s wealth. Our consumer driven economy is on the verge of total collapse.

Our business and government need to act fast, because we already are seeing the effects. Consumer confidence is at a 26 year low, business inventories are growing do to a lack of demand, price of gas is sky high, and not to mention that most of our good paying manufacturing jobs are over seas. The USA needs to do something quick, if USA goes down, China, UK, France, Russia, and the whole world crash and burn with us.
