Iran, Israel, and a future conflict

Posted in News with tags , , , , , , , , , on March 8, 2009 by Rob

It is just a matter of time before the tinderbox that is called the Middle East explodes, and when it does happen. The world will see a war unlike any other.

People, we Americans, do not understand how fragile the peace in the Middle East is. There is Israel, a Jewish State that is likened to in westerner invasion in the eyes of the Arab population. Then there are the extremist nations of Iran and Syria. Both have a deep hatred of the United States and Israel, and would rejoice if one or both fell. Of the two extremist nations, Iran is what I would consider a major threat. Not only is Iran seeking to become a nuclear power and is rattling its sabers.

I can tell you right now that if the United States doesn’t do anything to reduce the threat of Iran, Israel will strike. Just today Iran tested a long-range missile that has the ability to hit US bases in Iraq and targets in Israel. Combine that with Iran’s uranium enriching for “nuclear power” and you have the deadly situation. Because of this deadly potential, Israel might have no choice but to launch a pre-emptive strike against Iran. The major targets will be military facilities and nuclear plants.

Then Iran will claim that civilians where killed in the strike and whip up its citizenry into a war frenzy. Israel will attempt to justify its military strike. By this time majority of the major nations would issue public condemnation of Israel’s actions. Iran, however, cannot directly assault Israel since it must go through Iraq and Syria. I can foresee a missile barge from Iran followed by a military invasion by Syria. With Israel distracted it would give Palestine the chance to launch its own rebellion. Thus Israel will be faced with a dangerous two front war.

The only unknown factor is the USA. With Obama in the presidential office I cannot see what he will do. I understand that if Israel did launch a pre-emptive strike that Obama will join the rest of the nations in issuing a public condemnation; however, if Israel is attacked would Obama come to their aid. Most conservatives and right-wingers will agree that we must do something to help, yet this might actually be a bad thing. Remember we have military in Iraq and our military is stretched too thin. If USA does support Israel, Iran might just send its soldiers through Iraq on its way to Israel.

With this in place, the USA will be in a war just as devastating and long as Vietnam. Except the soldiers are not fighting for a socialistic ideology but for their god, and that is what will make this war far different. If American people thought that the 4,888 (4,300 in Iraq, 588 in Afghanistan) casualties from the Afghanistan and Iraq war are high, a war with Iran would cause deaths in the tens of thousands.

Barack Obama’s Civilian National Security Force

Posted in News, Politics with tags , , , , , , , , , , on November 2, 2008 by Rob

What is a civilian National Security Force? A new version of the Homeland Security department? A new branch of the military? Or the family friendly term for the secret police? What ever the answer something is unsettling about this.

Barack Obama, in the video above, states that we cannot rely on our own military for our national security! Obama wants to have a civilian National Security Force. What I don’t understand is that our military is already a civilian national security force. All soldiers are normal civilians that decided to serve our nation in the armed forces.

Obama wants this ‘National Security Force’ to be as strong, as well funded, and large as our armed forces. For any fiscal-conservatives out there, our defense budget is 500 billion dollars. Obama wants to add another 500 billion for his Secret police, so the defense budget will be 1 trillion. No wonder why Obama wants to raise taxes.

Yet that doesn’t bother me as much as why Obama wants a new military branch, or whatever you want to call it. Isn’t our own military and local police enough? Our armed forces are the strongest and most sophisticated military in the world. No other nation on earth can compare to our weapon technology. No other nation military has the same global reach as us. In my humble opinion, our military is the best.

So why does Obama want this? I have an idea, and if you support Obama, stop reading now.

Obama is a left-wing Radical. Our military tends to be a conservative organization. Obama knows that there will be many in the military that will not trust him. There will be many in the top brass that will resent his leadership, and rightly so. How does Obama fix this problem? Simple, make a new military force that will be loyal to his ideals, a new military that Obama will be able to influence and have complete control over. That is where this new ‘civilian National Security Force’ comes in, and with a Democrat controlled congress, I can see Obama getting all the funding and support he needs.

I am against this because we already have a military and we have police officers. Why do we need to have another national security organization? And what’s wrong with our current military? The main questions that I have are, what powers will this civilian National Security Force have? Will they be able to arrest anti-Obama supporters? Arrest those who do not recycle? Spy on our families and neighbors like in George Orwell’s book 1984?

All I know is that this is rather disturbing and further proof of Obama’s Radicalism.

Barack Obama and Wealth Reistribution

Posted in News, Politics with tags , , , , , , , , , on October 31, 2008 by Rob

We have been hearing about wealth redistribution, but how will wealth redistribution work? I will give you a very simple example.

I am driving to a restaurant to eat dinner. On my way I see a homeless man holding a sign saying “Hungry Vet, God Bless.” I would feel bad since I am about to stuff myself with food. When I get to a restaurant my waitress takes my order. She does a great job and the service is excellent. When I finish the meal, I get the bill. I tell the waitress that I am going to redistribute some wealth to help the real needy. I tell the woman that I will give her tip the homeless man because he needed it more than her. Of course the waitress would be mad, but I am being selfless. I am doing what Obama wants to do with your wealth.

Is it the right thing to do? I mean it is always good to help the poor. I try to donate my money to charities, but the question is should I rely on the government to do it for me? Does Obama think I am not capable to helping the poor or donating my money? My final question I leave you with is this. Who knows what is best for your family and your money, the Washington DC or you?

Iran for Barack Obama

 Iran for Obama!

Those people in Iran love the USA!!

Those people in Iran love the USA!!

Islamic-Fascism and militant socialism are gridding their axes, in preparation for a future conflict with American ideals. This is the time to stand strong and untied. The United States of America must be ready and willing to deal with all those who want to cause harm. IN this era we are no longer fighting for land, but our very way of life.

As I watch the political quagmire boil and fester. I cannot help but be disgusted. I find myself wondering. Are these candidates really what we need? I know that I am leaning toward John McCain, but he never came close to the candidate I really wanted. I would love to vote for Bob Barr, yet, in the US elections, voting for a third party candidate is like throwing away your vote. Then there is Barack Obama. Now if you have been reading this blog for awhile you should know. I am not a big fan of Barack Obama, and the article above, reaffirms my view on Obama.

Iran’s parliament speaker, Ali Larijani, said that they support Barack Obama. His reason is that he finds Obama ‘flexible and rational’. Great, not only is Barack Obama a Marxist, but now has the backing and support of one the world’s brutal nations. Was it not Iran whose revolutionary guard helped sneak insurgent fighters and weapons into Iraq, with the intention to kill US soldiers? Is it not Iran that wants Israel wiped off the face of the earth? This is the country that enjoys burning and stomping on the US flag, and the leaders and people of Iran chant “death to America!” Larijani calls Barack Obama ‘flexible’ or in other terms weak and easily manipulated.

The USA needs a president that will not be another nation’s naïve puppet.  We need a strong president that is not flexible. The question is this. Will Obama be a pawn in the great game of international politics? I know that Barack’s running mate, Joe Biden, believes that Obama will have a tough time, yet, I heard some people say, Barack will have many advisers on foreign policy, so he doesn’t need to have experience. Having advisers doesn’t mean jack. If other countries think that you are weak, they will exploit that weakness. Obama does not have any real world foreign policy experience. Remember this is the guy at one moment wanted undivided Israeli country and the next supported a two-state option to deal with the Israel-Palestine problem.

My view is that we need a president that does have foreign policy skills. Our next president must rely on his own skills not those of advisers. In this world of Islamic-Fascism and Militant Socialism, we need to have a president that will not be flexible to the world dictators. We need a president that will not talk or bend to the will of tyrants. We cannot afford to have a president that will follow the ideals of appeasement like Neville Chamberlain and his famous 1938 quote ‘Peace in Our Time’(a year later WWII started). Sadly, I see Barack Obama, not being strong enough or independent enough for our nation and global politics. I see Obama as following the failed ideologies of Appeasement and Socialism.

1860 election and 2008 election. Something in common?

“A house divided against itself cannot stand.”- Abraham Lincoln

When honest Abe said those words back in 1858 the USA was a very different place indeed. The Southern States had slavery while the North was abolished slavery. It was just a matter of time before these two very different ideologies would clash against each other. It was on December 20th 1860 when South Carolina left the Union, and in the following month of January, the rest of the south left the Union. The United States of America was about to experience the brutality of the deadliest war in US history.

Fast-forward to 2008 and there is something (though not as severe) similar to the events of the 1860s. In our nation there are two very different ideologies that are clashing with each other. On one hand there is Progressivism (aka Liberalism) and on the other side, is Conservatism. Theses two ideologies have been at odds for years; however, our political system has managed to keep both sides satisfied and able to co-exist, to a point.

Recently there has been a shift from uneasy relationship to all out hostility. In the near past, the polarization of American politics became obvious. In Bush’s last State of the Union, one could clearly see the complete lack of harmony between the Republicans and Democrats. Bush would mention, what one would consider, a ‘conservative ideal’ like privatization of Social Security. The Republicans would stand and applaud, but the Democrats would sit silently. It is true that this has happened before but something isn’t right.

Today we have two presidential tickets that are very different from each other. The Dems have Barack Obama and Joe Biden. Obama is an advocate of Socialism (spreading the wealth), increase of centralized government, and for an absolute change of fundamental American beliefs. It is amazing how far the Democrats have leaned toward the left in recent times. Their beliefs now are in conflict on what our nation was founded on. Our nation was funded on the individual pursuit of happiness. The Constitution and its writers never liked the idea of a government deeply involved in the person’s life; however, this fundamental American ideal at odds with Obama’s Marxist views for America.

There are millions of Americans that support the Constitution. Many are willing to fight for its ideals. In fact there are many in our armed forces that are fighting for it, yet this election has brought out people who could care less about our Constitution. There are people who are willing to blindly support any leader that promises something for free (national healthcare, welfare, etc…) and will hate and despise those who disagree.

It is two weeks away from election. In two weeks an election will revolutionize our nation. Will it stay move toward the right or drastically toward the left. The choice is simple, fight for the Constitution and vote for the right of the individual.

Because nobody wants to repeat the events of the 1860s.

Equality! The Leftist Buzz Word.

Posted in News, Politics, entertainment with tags , , , , , , , , , , on October 14, 2008 by Rob

What is the one ideal that liberals and Osama, I mean, Obama want? They want a government will take care of the people. Isn’t that such a wonderful idea! Imagine having the government taking care of all people! What a life that would be. There would be no poverty, no racism, no sexism, pure equality, everyone would be rich and well off, everyone would have a house, and there would be a chicken in every pot.

I can see some powerful world leaders singing the same tune, for example, Hitler, Stalin, Franco, and Ho Chi Man. All of those leaders wanted the government to take care of the people. Just like how Obama wants to have the government take care of you. Each of those tyrants ran with the same idea. They wanted to help the poor; they wanted to make the rich pay for their abuse of the worker and they wanted to make everybody equal.

I still don’t understand why people want equality so bad. People have this idea that one day. That people can and will be equal. There will be no wars, or conflicts. We can all be just equal. I know John Lennon sung about equality in his song “imagine” and if that song came true, what a world it would be. Sadly, we humans are not perfect; we humans are unable to achieve this type of society. People will naturally have biases toward other people. Prejudice will always exist, no matter what. We humans will have our emotions of greed, lust, love, sadness, and hate. No matter how much the government tries it will not be able to make everyone 100% equal. Even if the government gave everybody the same house, same car, same job, same pay, and forced them to buy the same items, there will still be inequality. Some people will just naturally be born with better looks, a higher IQ, a great sense of humor, and so on. With all those variables how can a government make people equal if people are born unequal?  The simple answer is that they cannot. No matter how hard a government or a person tries, people will always be unequal. So why do libs, democrats, Marxist, commies, socialist, or the ‘left’, try to make every one equal?

Simple if they can feed you this equality crap, then they can make you vote for them. When you vote for them, you give the left more power. Give the left more power; they will naturally remove more freedoms in the name of equality and common good. Then before you know it, you have no freedoms, have no incentive to succeed (because the government gives you everything) and you are no longer a person, but a simple drone, and the people that fed you that equality crap will have all the power.

Sometimes equality isn’t all what it cracked up to be. If you want equality go with capitalism. Why? If a person gave two people with the same background, 10,000 dollars each, and told them to start a business. Those two people would have the same chance of succeeding or failing. What’s more equal then that? In this upcoming election remember to vote for a capitalist, not Comrade Obama.

“You cannot bring about prosperity by discouraging thrift. You cannot help small men by tearing down big men. You cannot strengthen the weak by weakening the strong. You cannot lift the wage-earner by pulling down the wage-payer. You cannot help the poor man by destroying the rich. You cannot keep out of trouble by spending more than your income. You cannot further the brotherhood of man by inciting class hatred. You cannot establish security on borrowed money. You cannot build character and courage by taking away men’s initiative and independence. You cannot help men permanently by doing for them what they could and should do for themselves.”

Liberals: People of (in)tolerance

Posted in Politics with tags , , , , , , on October 12, 2008 by Rob

Here is my question about liberalism. They preach about tolerance, equality, and diversity. They view conservatism as backwards, projectors of class-warfare, and chauvinistic pigs. I don’t understand why they think that, because they do the same thing!

They believe that they’re leading America into a better, more progressive future. What I see is a group of people that their fundamental philosophy is “Do as I say, Not as I do” which anyone can plainly see every time on of these ‘progressives’ try to influence the American public. An example of this is the intelligent design theory. I understand that some people think this theory is pathetic excuse to try to teach about God in school, yet it does bring up the hypocrisy of liberalism. Liberals fight constantly against the supporters of the Intelligent Design theory. Liberals believe Intelligent Design is a sneaky way for conservatives to teach about God in schools. I don’t understand why liberals get so mad. Aren’t liberals supposed to be people with open minds and the agents of tolerance? These are the same people that want to teach sex education to kindergartners.  Liberals say that conservatives supposed the agents of intolerance, so why are they being so intolerant too the Intelligent Design theory?

By now I hope you see the hypocrisy. Liberals are open-minded and tolerant if it is something that they agree with, like Planned Parenthood, socialism, taxes, atheism, and Barack Obama. If anyone contradicts any of their ‘progressive’ ideas; liberals take their media friends and try to annihilate reputation of progressivism enemies with familiar labels like bigot, racist, closed-minded, and sexist just to name a few.

When you hear a liberal say that ‘conservatives are (insert random insult)‘ remember to smile. Point out their liberal hypocrisy and before they respond. Make sure you tell them they can’t response with bumper-sticker slogan. That is the fastest way to shut them up.

Barack H. Obama Big Spender! Bush’s Spending doesn’t Even Come Close to Obama Spending Plan.

Posted in News, Politics, Uncategorized with tags , , , , , , on July 14, 2008 by Rob

He doesnt show it here, but Obama is going to be a BIG SPENDER

This is why the earth is heating up. Plastic bags and lot of hot air.

Analysis: Obama won’t try

for McCain’s budget goal.

WASHINGTON (AP) — Barack Obama says John McCain’s plan to balance the budget doesn’t add up. Easy for him to say: It’s not a goal he’s even trying to reach.

Not only does Obama say he won’t eliminate the deficit in his first term, as McCain aims to do, he frankly says he’s not sure he’d bring it down at all in four years, considering his own spending plans.

"I do not make a promise that we can reduce it by 2013 because I think it is important for us to make some critical investments right now in America’s families," Obama told reporters this week when asked if he’d match McCain’s pledge.

So what is more important in tough economic times? For the government to spend more to help hard-hit Americans or to eliminate a deficit that can lead to higher borrowing costs and slow the economy?

Whether it’s McCain the Republican or Obama the Democrat in the White House next year, the new president is likely to inherit an annual federal deficit exceeding $400 billion. Budget watchers say it’s hard to figure what either candidate’s impact will be since neither is offering full details of his spending programs.

"I think both candidates need to put some numbers on these things so we can get a sense of how realistic they are," said Robert Bixby of the Concord Coalition, a budget watchdog group.

Obama’s criticism of McCain’s pledge as "overly ambitious" is backed up by fiscal experts.

"Hypothetically it’s possible to get to a balanced budget by 2013, but not under the policies that McCain has proposed," Bixby said. "The policies he would propose would actually add to the deficit when you take them all together."

Jim Horney, director of federal fiscal policy at the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities, said the center’s analysis, even assuming a fast drawdown of troops in Iraq, found McCain would have to cut around $400 billion worth of federal programs to balance the budget by 2013.

“It seems unlikely, particularly given that Senator McCain has not been willing to be specific about what programs he would cut,” Horney said. “And even if he were willing to, there’s a real question of whether the Congress or the public would go along with the kinds of cuts required to balance the budget, assuming the tax policies that he’s proposing.”

McCain says he would reduce spending by slowing the growth of Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid, but he hasn’t said how he would try to change the benefits. He also says he would slow the government’s spending growth and stop spending on lawmakers’ special earmarked projects. But earmarks accounted for just $17 billion of the $2.9 trillion budget this year.

Obama plans to raise $100 billion annually by increasing taxes on Americans making more than $250,000 a year, money that would be used to pay for health care and tax cuts for low- and middle-income earners. He has said ending the Iraq war would generate about $80 billion a year, but he’s not using that to pay down the deficit either. Instead, he said that money could help pay for more government programs like health care, education, housing and public safety.

"The problem there is that the Democrats have been very critical of President Bush for spending hundreds of billions of dollars on the war without paying for it and running up the deficit," Bixby said. "But in effect what Obama is saying is, `I’m going to spend the same amount of money. I’m just going to spend it on something else.’"

Obama’s economic policy director, Jason Furman, said the campaign will release a formal budget later in the year that explains his spending in greater detail. Furman added that “while we would like to balance the budget, we cannot say exactly when that will happen given the need to make important investments and the large amount of uncertainty in the economy.”

Bixby said even if Obama and McCain have ways to pay for their spending plans, the United States still has an unsustainable budget outlook because of rising costs for Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid.

"It’s kind of like somebody building a porch on a house they can’t afford," he said. "This is the part of the budget that’s poised to explode over the next several years. And we really can’t afford all of these new initiatives that McCain and Obama are talking about because we haven’t figured out how to pay for what’s already on the table."

My View

At least McCain is attempting to get this country out of debt. At least McCain is not trying to increase the taxes for anyone. At least McCain is trying to cut all the wasteful pork that Washington spews out every year. At least McCain is trying to show people that living off of the government is not the way to go.

Obama on the other hand… He just wants more spending. If you though Bush was bad at spending money. Obama’s spending will DWARF that of Bush’s spending levels. People complain about how much Bush spent money, yet no one will complain about Obama’s spending. Remember the Government should NOT take care of you!

To the people who for some reason are too blind too see Barack Hussein Obama is truly a Marxist, just look at his two year record. Is it Social Security and Welfare really worth the increase of taxes and debt? My point of view. I say anyone over 45 is guaranteed social security. Anyone under that age should get start putting money away, of course with tax incentives.

Also people living on welfare, they would have six months to get off or be out on the street. I know there are people that truly need the help, and they should be helped. I just want to get the people who don’t work or try to find a job off welfare. These people need to be held accountable for their own financial situation, and they shouldn’t rely on my tax dollars!
