Barack Obama and Wealth Reistribution

Posted in News, Politics with tags , , , , , , , , , on October 31, 2008 by Rob

We have been hearing about wealth redistribution, but how will wealth redistribution work? I will give you a very simple example.

I am driving to a restaurant to eat dinner. On my way I see a homeless man holding a sign saying “Hungry Vet, God Bless.” I would feel bad since I am about to stuff myself with food. When I get to a restaurant my waitress takes my order. She does a great job and the service is excellent. When I finish the meal, I get the bill. I tell the waitress that I am going to redistribute some wealth to help the real needy. I tell the woman that I will give her tip the homeless man because he needed it more than her. Of course the waitress would be mad, but I am being selfless. I am doing what Obama wants to do with your wealth.

Is it the right thing to do? I mean it is always good to help the poor. I try to donate my money to charities, but the question is should I rely on the government to do it for me? Does Obama think I am not capable to helping the poor or donating my money? My final question I leave you with is this. Who knows what is best for your family and your money, the Washington DC or you?

Obama for Socialism!

Posted in News, Politics with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , on October 15, 2008 by Rob

The best thing in life is when my statements turn into fact. I have stated before in my previous post that Barack Obama is a socialist, wait, I mean Marxist. Socialist still believe in some private ownership and competition; however, Marxist believe in personality cults (like Obama’s campaign), wealth redistribution (like Obama’s economic policy), prejudiced equality (like Obama’s domestic policy), and my personal favorite a planned economy. Obama seems to be taking notes from history’s greatest dictators and failed ideologies.

In the video above, you have Joe the plumber who said to Obama that his little business would make more then 250,000 dollars a year. Obama has said that taxes will be raised on anyone making more then 250,000 a year, so Joe the plumber’s taxes will increase. We all know Obama is an eloquent speaker. Obama with his mastery of the English language, explained to Joe the plumber about his true economic plan: “My attitude is that if the economy’s good for folks from the bottom up, it’s gonna be good for everybody. I think when you spread the wealth around, it’s good for everybody.”

Spread the wealth around? Come on people. This has Marxism writing all over it! It is against our nation’s beliefs of capitalism! Our nation’s constitution encourages capitalism. Here is this man that is completely against our fundamental beliefs. The main reason why we are an economic powerhouse is because we value the free-market, yet people say that capitalism has failed us. Nothing could be further from the truth. Capitalism has never failed. The free-market will always right itself, and balance out. It is only when We the People fail to leave alone the market, does Capitalism appear to fail.

“Communism possesses a language which every people can understand – its elements are hunger, envy, and death.”- Heinrich Heine

The New US Great Depression

USA Economy to lose 6 TRILLION DOLLARS!!!!

My View:

One just has to read this article and look at how homes are selling to see this come prediction coming true. 6 trillion is going to vanish this year! That’s 6 with twelve zeros following after it. Our economy is 13.13 trillion according to the CIA world factbook. This year we will see 6 trillion vanish from that. That is really bad news. As home prices continue to fall and the cost of living keeps going up. It is fact that our country is heading into a recession. A recession so frightening that Americans and the world have no idea how bad it is. Some people are saying that we are heading into a depression.

It is a known fact, that up 65 percent of the average American wealth are their homes. The housing bubble that ended in 2006 is starting to completely wipe out most American’s wealth. Our consumer driven economy is on the verge of total collapse.

Our business and government need to act fast, because we already are seeing the effects. Consumer confidence is at a 26 year low, business inventories are growing do to a lack of demand, price of gas is sky high, and not to mention that most of our good paying manufacturing jobs are over seas. The USA needs to do something quick, if USA goes down, China, UK, France, Russia, and the whole world crash and burn with us.

Obama, Clinton, McCain, and How They Will Let Us Down

My View:

Here are our countries problems. A credit crisis, the beginning of a food crisis, oil at $120 (with projection up to $200), gas at $3.61, truckers are going on strike, tainted imports, illegal immigration, mortgage crisis, living outside our means, debt plagued society and country, Iraq, Iran, faltering economy, and to top it off an election with three similar and equally pathetic candidates. All these problems are just piling up on each other.

The next president is going to have a lot of work to do. The next couple of years are going to be very tough. Some young people never had seen a recession before. They just don’t understand what it is like to wait in gas lines. My father has told me how brutal those lines could get, fist fights, shooting, and killing. Some leading experts are saying that our economy might go into a depression. I mean 1930s depression. Where unemployment is 30% and countries go to war to jump-start economies. We must understand that we can no longer afford to think in the short term. Short term thinking got us to where we are today. The era of cheap prices and gas is over. We will never see gas like it was back in the late 90s and early 2000. Food will never be cheap like it use to. I can see in the future, that most of our disposable income will be used for the essentials of survival. This will not last forever though. Our economy will rebound and things will be back to normal. Prices might not be as low, but people will be able to still live comfortably.

That is if Obama, Clinton, or McCain don’t mess it up. Because Americans are worried, the candidates will say anything to calm the people’s fears and help gain votes. The candidates will calm the peoples fear by having the government as the solution. How will the government be the solution? More Government control. I don’t mind some government control. Sometimes it is helpful. Some governmental control can prevent extreme problems, like if there was more control in the mortgage market. We might have avoided the problem we face today.

That is if the government does not try to over-control industries. The government loves power, and the more power it has, the more of a control freak it becomes. Government has the tendency to over-control or regulate many industries, and that’s bad for business. The government shouldn’t try to make every failing industry successful, failed businesses happen, that’s capitalism. When the government over-controls or regulates an industry or service. That industry/service tends to perform poorly in a competitive market.

Sadly, I can see that the candidates are promoting more government control and regulation, and there is no American standing up to question it. If Americans continue to worry about affording big screen TVs, gas-guzzling SUVs, cheap stuff at Wal-Mart, and only care about short-term satisfaction; then, there will be problems, and politicians that will satisfy the will of the people with more governmental control.

My View:

First Thank you for visiting my site.
It has been a unique day in the news. The Economy is heading further into to dump. The Democrats are too busy arguing to unite and the Republicans McCain and Huckabee decided to join forces.
The Main headline is that oil has jumped. This time it was caused by raising tensions in the Persian Gulf. Iran and the US are at a ‘qusi-cold war’. There is a lot of rhetoric being thrown around, especially by Iran. What does this mean? In layman terms, it means higher prices do to the fact investors think the oil supply could be threaten by a war.
Is a war really possible? Yes and No. I can not see a war starting between the US and Iran any time soon, but it doesn’t mean it won’t happen. Iran does not have the capabilities to fight against a superpower, even if it thinks it is the world strongest nation. The US on the other hand, doesn’t have the political will to fight another war. It might happen if Iran continues defying the IAEA, and completely ignores the rest of the world, or attack Israel. Then there will be a war, but like I said. The United States lacks the political will to fight another war just for the hell of it.

Thanks Rob
